About Ultimate Tic Tac Toe
Take the classic game of tic-tac-toe to a whole new level in Ultimate Tic Tac Toe. Instead of battling on a single 3x3 board, you'll compete across nine interconnected boards where every move determines your opponent's next destination.
Winning requires much more than making three in a row. You'll need to control the mini boards, predict your rival's strategy, and plan several moves ahead to dominate the larger board. Easy to understand but surprisingly deep, it's a perfect game for players who enjoy tactical challenges.
How to Play
Take turns placing X or O on the mini boards.
Your move decides which mini board your opponent must play on next. Win a small board by making three in a row, then continue capturing boards until you connect three won boards horizontally, vertically, or diagonally on the main grid.
If your opponent is sent to a completed board, they may choose any available board for their next move.
Game Controls
- Mouse = Select a Square
- Left Mouse Click = Place Your Mark
- Touch Controls = Tap to Play on Mobile
Simple controls let you focus entirely on strategy.

- Think about both the current board and the overall board.
- Avoid sending your opponent to a board they can easily win.
